Regional Census Data

The HRPDC houses a vast library of Census Bureau data. The summary levels for MSA (Metropolitan Statistical Area) data, cities or counties, census tracts and some block group information are available in printed and electronic forms. 11 x 17" Census Tract Maps for the Peninsula and
Southside of Hampton Roads

Census Tract Maps are obtainable in 11 X 17 printouts at a cost of $3 per map. The maps are available for the following cities and counties:

Southside: Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Franklin, Isle of Wight County, Southampton County and Surry County

Peninsula: Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, Williamsburg, Gloucester County, James City County and York County

Census Tract Block Maps provide census tracts and block numbers. These maps are available for viewing at the HRPDC Chesapeake office for Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Isle of Wight, Southampton, Franklin, Surry, Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, Williamsburg, Gloucester County, James City County, and York County.
